Hartley Bay Marina
This is probably the most popular kayak/canoe rental facility available for visitors to French River Provincial Park. The Marina offers a range of Canoe & Kayak rental opportunities and offers an easy launching point into the French River. The facility is located in about 15 kms (30 mins drive) from Highway 69.

French River Supply Post & Marina
French River Supply Post is a small marina on the French River, just off the highway 69. By speaking to them over phone, I understand that they only have 2 or 3 small plastic kayaks (not any big ones like sea kayaks) which may not be very suitable for multi day kayak camping trips. But if you would like to just try paddling in the river for a day or half, then these kayaks should be good I guess. Since the post is located very close to Highway 69, you can just drive your car there and pick up the kayak yourself. Delivery may not be a good option in this case, because the delivery charges could be as high as $150 – $200 both ways. In Summers, they are usually open up till 8 pm in the evening.

Grundy Lake Supply Post
Just like the French River Supply Post, the Grundy Lake Supply Post is conveniently located right on Highway 69 (at the intersection of Hwy 522) near Grundy Lake Provincial Park. They offer Canoe, Kayak and paddle boat rentals. You also get propane and firewood there.

Pine Cove Lodge
Situated east of Hwy 69, Pine Cove Lodge is an additional option for you to rent canoes or kayaks. Although the lodge is located a little interior and in the opposite direction of French River Park (about 35 kms east from the highway 69), the facility offers delivery facility for extra charge if you are planning to launch from an access point close the provincial park (like Hartley Bay Marina access point). Alternatively, you can plan to launch (into the French River) closer to the Lodge if you would like.

Bryer Lodge
Bryer Lodge is located close to Pine Cove Lodge and offers canoe and kayak rentals including delivery for a charge. Similar to Pine Cove, this facility is also a little interior from Hwy 69 and thus its best to either choose a launching point in the east or book delivery.
